Shaz

Shaz
wrote and starred in the award winning short films "Martini", "Tunnels" and "Top of the Circle", these films screened at over 50 film festivals including
The Los Angeles Film Festival, True West Festival, Silverdocs, and traveled the world with Lunafest, the Berkley Photographic Museum and the International Women's Museum.
Shaz is a film programmer.
For the past ten years Shaz Bennett has been the Assoc. Director of Programming at AFI FEST (The American Film Institute Los Angeles International Film Festival). She has also worked for the Los Angeles Film Festival and the San Francisco International Film Festival. Shaz worked for seven years with the Sundance Institute tracking projects for the summer labs and screening short films. Shaz has served on festival juries and spoken on panels at film festivals all over the US, Mexico, Europe and South Africa. She contributes often to popular independent film blogs and writes regularly for Moving Pictures, La Vie de Boheme and Next Films.
